KOFFI IS OUT WITH ROOT AND ROLL ALBUM

2012 is certainly a good time for ace comedian Koffi Idowu Nuel.  Koffi released his album titled Root and Roll on Monday January 2nd 2012 and as usual, i was there to bring you info on what went down. I must say that koffi’s album is one to look out for when it’s been sold.

I’ve listened to the album and i must commend Koffi for bringing Originality into his work. The album has got 12 tracks and 1 bonus track called Gidilove. My favourite track in the album includes EgetAsEbe which basically talks about the challenges faced by young Nigerian’s in terms of making ends meet. I also like Telemi featuring Adunni, her voice is one you’ll want to listen to over and over again. I immediately fell in love with her voice. Adunni is certainly an act to look out for in 2012.

Omotoshan is track 11, what makes this song different from others is the fact that Koffi used the soundtrack from Blackky’s song titled ‘Rossy’ which i think is a fantastic idea, Koffi might involve ‘Blackky’ in the remixed version of the song.

Koffi’s root and roll album was produced by Yeankeyz, Outshine, Lowkeyz and Ex-O. It was mixed and mastered by Joe Ojaz.
