Nuptial Knot: Jumoke & Yemi

Without any doubt, it was obvious that Opeyemi Akanji was experiencing one of his happiest moment ever. The joy was seeing him tie the nuptial knot with his fiance who he met on Facebook through his colleague who happens to be jumoke’s friend. The wedding ceremony kicked off with the traditional engagement ceremony which took place November 18th 2011. The event started with the presentation of the betrothal  letter presented to the bride’s family, after making their intention known Opeyemi  danced into the hall in company if his friends who had come to support him on this special day.

Without any further delay, the delectable bride Jumoke stepped into the hall, filled with so much joy and smile on her face, after receiving blessings from both family members, guest were well entertained while other activities like the cutting of the cake and placing of the marriage symbol was placed into jumoke’s finger, soon the event came to an end and the next day was the day the couple had being waiting for. 

The holy solemnization took place the next day 19 November 2012 at the Surulere Baptist Church. Jumoke looked stunning in her white laced wedding dress while Yemi looked cute aswel. She walked down the aisle majestically in company of her father who gave her into holy matrimony. During the exhortation, they couple where charged to love and be submissive to each other. After the exchange of vows they proceeded into signing the marriage register followed by the wedding thanksgiving.

After which all road led to the Unilag Staff School, Akoka. Lagos. Where the reception took place. The hall was stylishly decorated in lemon and army green colour while the hall was filled with friends, family members and well wishers. It was obvious that Jumoke and Yemi felt loved and appreciated by the massive turnout of guest at the wedding.
