Checkout Flavour, Davido, Wizkid And Olamide’s Fee To Perform At A Wedding

It’s no news that in most high class weddings, we see top celebrities hired to trill guests with their hit songs. I’ve attended some of the high class weddings in Lagos and I’ve seen Olamide, Flavour, Davido and also Wizkid perform severally. But little is known about how much they are being payed to perform at these weddings. Helen Events Blog decided to do a bit of investigation and this was what we came up with:

Davido: Davido has been in the entertainment industry and he isn’t doing bad in his music career. Aside concerts and birthday parties, Davido charges between ?4m-?3m to perform at a wedding.

Wizkid: Wizkid is a household name in the industry and he sure knows how to trill guests at a wedding. The ladies love him, they love to dance with him and of course take selfies with him. Wizkid’s fee to perform at a wedding is ?5m

Olamide: For a typical Yoruba high class wedding Olamide is good to go. The Yorubas love him, they love his songs, his songs appeal to them greatly! Olamide’s fee is between ?2-?2.5m

Flavour: Flavour is not just one of those artiste who makes a lot of noise while performing. Flavour is such a fantastic entertainer and I’ll say Flavour is the best guy to hire to perform at an Igbo wedding. Flavour recently performed at a wedding and he got both the young and old dancing to his songs. Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji was on the dance floor for over an hour dancing while Flavour performed. Flavour’s fee is ?6m which is definitely worth the time. Trust me! Now let’s take Flavour as an example. Let’s assume he performs at four different weddings in the month of September. That would be 6m x 4m= ?24m in a month for just weddings. Let’s assume he performs at 2 different weddings on each Sat in 1 month now that’s some cool cash. Just in case a member of your family wants to be the next Flavour or Olamide, I’ll advise you start encouraging the person. Truth is, these guys make a lot of money and before you dream of having a star perform at your wedding, be sure you’ve got ‘the money’.
