Why Nigerians Eat Twice At Parties By Sammie Jozie

How would you feel if you realized that the person you went to party with is fighting to get another plate of food after finishing the first plate. I know so many people would feel ashamed and embarrass at that spot, but I guess you don’t need to if only you can understanding why people do so. Below are some few reasons why people do so:

– Due to the rate at which poverty is rising in the country, you should be aware that Nigerians that eat at least 2 square meal a day are less than 40%. Some don’t even eat at all while some eat just 1square meal a day. Now I want you reader reading my article to put yourselves in that shoe whereby you eat just once a day and luckily for you, you have not eaten anything at that moment of the day at the party, what would you have done. I know some of us that are reading this article would do more (LOL)just to ensure we satisfy ourselves (just kidding) because opportunity knocks but once.

– moreover, there are some party you go to, after every thing you notice that they are still enough food left and the celebrant are ready to do away with them maybe by throwing them away and within you (you are still willing to eat more), won’t you take in second plate? If possible third plate, I don’t mind especially if the cook did a great work in preparing it. I go even take 5 plate sef……remembering that God does not like it when we waste foods when we have people that have not eaten at all.

– I believe my third point is gonna sound funny but it true. I call it Funny But True (FBT). Just has everybody on earth have one or two talent that are in them(in born gift) that’s how some humans are inborn with Longer throat, yoruba people call it Ojukokoro. This kind of people can never see things and take their eyes of it. They are ready to do anything to get it even if it by hurting themselves, they would do it. My people if you are fortunate enough to go to party with this kind of people, be ready to wear suit of embarrassment because this kind of people would surely showcase their inborn gift at that scene. Moreover this kind of people are shameless…
