How Ibinabo Fiberesima And Hubby Fell In Love

Ibinabo’s husband, Uche Egbuka spoke for the first time about his relationship with the beautiful actress. read excepts from his interview with City People Magazine below.

HOW DO FEEL GETTING MARRIED TODAY?

Awesome, it’s a great experience and i didn’t anticipate it was going to be like this.

HOW DID YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH HER?

Well, it’s not a new thing, it’s not something that just happened and she is not new to me. for 4 years she was my best friend in school. I have always loved her first as a friend and then more like a sister. It was just natural that when we hooked back up as adults, it was natural for our feelings for each other to progress to the kind of love we have right now.

WHAT ARE THE QUALITIES YOU LIKE ABOUT HER?

The best is that she is easily the kindest person i know and one thing we have in common is that we both love children a lot. One of my dreams is to someday open up an orphanage and i already see her doing a lot of things i would love to do. She is an easy person to love, she is very dedicated and loyal. Something a lot of people don’t know about Ibinabo is that she is a very good cook, the best cook i have ever met. My kids love her absolutely and her kids love me too. It’s not something that happened by accident. I think this is just the right time and i couldn’t have asked for a better wife.

GETTING MARRIED TO A CELEBRITY INSTANTLY PUTS YOU IN THE LIMELIGHT, DID YOU THINK ABOUT THAT?

I don’t seek attention and i have no value for it personally, if you marry someone you already know her occupation is and i know this whole media thing is just going to last for a while and you all will forget about me and i go back to my normal life. First of all, i’m a soldier so i really don’t care about publicity and i don’t enjoy it but at the same time, i understand thats part of my wife’s work and i don’t have a problem with it.

ARE YOU PLANNING ON HAVING MORE KIDS?

Well, she has 3 kids and i have 3 kids, though people have been reporting she has 6 and i have 6. right now, we both have 6 kids but ultimately we are going to have more kids, either we adopt or help people raise theirs but at some point we may still have ours because we still both young and can have more kids. but right now, we are not planning. Next couple of years is going to be very busy, am a clinical director so i have got a lot of work on my hands. right now we aren’t planning on that but we aren’t ruling it out either.
