Oxbride Holds 2015 May Ball Tagged ‘Highlife’
The Oxford and Cambridge Club of Nigeria, an alumni association of the Oxford and Cambridge Universities will this Saturday 6th of June hold its 2015 May Ball tagged Highlife.
Scheduled to hold at the Metropolitan Club in Victoria Island, Lagos, the Oxbridge May Ball 2015 will be graced by dignitaries and captains of industry. The occasion will also host members of the Club and their spouses, as well as corporate sponsors and friends to a gala evening of quality dining and entertainment.
Organised yearly by the Oxford and Cambridge Club of Nigeria, the May Ball which by Oxbridge custom is held in June is a traditional social event which marks the end of the academic year in both Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
The Club is a non-political association that organises business forums, lectures and thought leadership events, chief of which is the Oxbridge Debate series. Launched in March 2015, the inaugural Oxbridge Debate brought eminent jurists, economists and thinkers together to consider the key topic of “Nigeria, Democracy and The Economy.” Some observers have described the Oxbridge Debate as a purposeful initiative that contributes to nation building.
Membership of the Oxford and Cambridge Club of Nigeria is open to any Nigerian or resident of Nigeria, who graduated from either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge.
