Lighthouse Network presents “Walking The Talk,” A Personal Development Conference For Women
The Lighthouse Network; a women’s empowerment and support initiative will be holding the third edition of its bi-annual knowledge sharing series, this Saturday, May 21, 2016. Themed, ‘Walking The Talk,’ the event will provide an opportunity for women to learn about the importance of achieving their set goals in life, and the definite steps required to advance their professional and career development.
“It’s important for women to understand that achieving their personal and career goals is pivotal to living more fulfilled, happier lives” says Event Convener and Co-Founder of the Lighthouse Network, Nkiru Olumide-Ojo. “We’ve shattered the glass ceilings, more than ever before, we’ve gone further in our lives and businesses. Now it’s time for us to understand how to sustain these successes, how to leverage on our personal and professional networks, how to impart what we know to the generation coming after us.”
Speakers at this year’s event include: Mo Abudu CEO & Executive Chairman, Ebony Live TV & Ebony Life Films, Ephraim Osunde; Life Coach & Certified Leadership Instructor, Hadiza Bala Usman; Founder Bring Back Our Girls & Chief of Staff to Kaduna State Government, and Nkiru Olunide-Ojo; Event convener and Co-Founder, The Light House Network.

Lighthouse Network helps women make positive changes to their community, by helping one another light up their lives through inspiration, networking and mentorship. The Lighthouse Network previously held a knowledge-sharing session for female careerists and entrepreneurs, which was themed “How To Be a Better You.” Panel discussions were led Tope Jemerigbe, MD-DKK Advertising, Juliet Ehimuna-Chiazor, Country Manager, Google, and others.
