Photos From Cocktails In & Out Boss, Funke Awobokun “All Night Club Hangout” 40th Birthday Party
Cocktails In & Out boss, Funke Awobokun hosted friends, family members, as well as well-wishers to her 40th birthday.
The one of a kind event, which had most topshots in the event business in the country in attendance, was held at the Blue Velvet Marquee, Kitiwe Street, Zone 4, Abuja.
Although the party wasn’t held inside a club, but the venue was transformed into a club setting, which made everyone present had a unique feeling. The birthday gal tagged her party an “all night club hangout”.
Those who graced the event say nothing of such has ever happened in the Federal Capital Territory. The event started at about 11 pm and continued till 5 am on Saturday.
Many ladies looked all glamorous in their “club style”as they all followed the instruction of the dress code as contained in the invitation.
Though Funke Awobokun is now 40, the upscale enterprenuer doesn’t look any inch her age. She is petite, vibrant, outspoken and intelligent.
No one knew she could also be on the wheel of steel until Friday night when she wowed everyone when she took over the DJ stand and did some mixing. She kept everyone on their feet for over 30 minutes. Apart from owning the number one cocktails company which made everyone call her a mixologist, she is also the brain behind Grills In & Out, a catering outfit that serves only grilled foods at topnotch events in Nigeria.
She is one of the close allies of Mrs Bola Okolie of Bonix Drinks and Ibidunni Ighodalo of Elizabeth R. She is married to Mr Awobukun, Mr A, as she fondly called her hubby and they are both blessed with 3 kids. See exclusive pictures from the event below
