My First Visit to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

I had to be in Abuja early this morning and got to the airport before 6am and I’m a coffee junkie. I was going to go to the business lounge but didn’t want to sit there all because you can’t really see people and I’m a people watcher, so then I thought I would go to Things Remembered then changed my mind because it’s just the regular boring Nigerian eatery as it’s called in Nigeria.

I don’t even know if that’s a real word. Anyway, I figure another thirty minutes wait and I would be on the plane and have coffee anyway. Till I looked to my left and saw a Doughnut and Coffee Shop. Kripsy Kreme. The store was very clean, service was great and I treated my self to a Caffe Mocha and a Cookies & Cream Doughnut. Perfect combination.

You can tell someone’s thought about the design for the place. They even had a Know your Coffee poster which was quite enlightening. Apart from coffee, you can have Lemonade; Wilson’s no less.

There is a nice comfortable sitting area, so it’s like being in Business Lounge, there are power ports for your phone or computer.

It was cool experience, I could have been in any airport in the world. Only the Nigerian music on the speakers gave it away ?.

The Doughnut was so nice I bought a box of six to go.

And One more thing, they actually went to find about flight, so there is a concierge service. How cool is that?
