Abductors Release Oyo Cleric’s Twins 

The abducted twins of an Islamic cleric in Oyo State, Taofeeq Akeugbagold, have been freed.

Akeugbagold, who was the Chairman of the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Muslim wing, during the administration of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, announced their release in a Facebook post today.

He said his toddlers were released to him by a bush side after eight days in their abductor’s net.

He, however, did not mention whether a ransom was paid or not to secure their freedom.
