Prince Harry & Meghan’s Exclusive Interview with Oprah Winfrey Has Been Nominated for an Emmy Award
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could take home an award at the Emmy’s for the two-hour interview, which saw them make strong allegations against the Royal Family in March this year.
“Oprah with Meghan & Harry: A CBS Primetime Special” is nominated in the “Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series Or Special category”.
The winners will be announced at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles where the Duke and Duchess live on September 19.
During the Oprah interview, which aired in March, Meghan claimed an unnamed royal had raised “concerns” about the skin colour of her and Harry’s children and alleged the Palace had denied her mental health support. The interview caused a series of controversies for several weeks.
