Throne of Laffta Sets to Thrill Nigerians in Celebration of 61st Independence Day

The Throne of Laffta, comedy cum music themed event is set to thrill Nigerians as the country celebrates its 61st Independence Day in early October 2021.

The event which will take place on Sunday, 3rd October, this year at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, is the brainchild of MC Tagwaye, popular comedian who is famous for mimicking Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Throne of Laffta in its 4th edition this year will parade A-list performers including Gordons, Gandoki, Aproko, Hadiza Gabon, MC Bob and Koboko Master. Others include the sensational Hausa genre musician, Ali Jita, Morell, Chuks D General, Buchi, Osama, Mr. Paul and Billionaire Prince White.

According to MC Tagwaye, there are many reasons to keep Nigerians smiling despite the challenges inherent in the country.

“I am particularly interested in keeping Nigerians smiling always and this is what I will continue to do and advocate for irrespective of the differences and challenges across the country,” MC Tagwaye stated.

MC Tagwaye also referred to as Mr. President on many occasions both online and offline has wowed Nigerians with his extraordinary skill of delivering speeches and gestures that look almost exactly like the nuances and actions of President Muhammadu Buhari.
