PHOTOS: Nigerian Visual Artist, Fola David Breaks Guinness World Record for Largest Drawing
A Nigerian doctor and artist Fola David has set a new Guinness World Record, for the largest drawing by an individual.
Fola, who aimed to draw 1000 square metres of art that will showcase Nigeria’s diverse cultures, began the six-day attempt on July 16 at Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
On Friday night, Fola broke the current record of 629.98 square metres, but his ambition does’t stop there as he aims to expand his artwork to 1,000 square meters.
