100 Nigerian Models To Star In Africa’s Largest Fashion Show
Modelling profession is having its way in Nigeria entertainment industry day by day as young Nigerians with cute body physique and pretty faces, male and female getting mouth-watering modelling contracts with various outstanding modelling agencies, clothing lines, multi-million companies and others both local and international.
This is becoming more evident as Lagos sets to host the Africa’s largest runway fashion show tagged “100 models 1 Fashion show 1 Label”, to promote 100 dinstinct designs from African fabrics by 100 Nigerian models on the 15th of December, 2013 powered by Owambe Clothing, Nigeria’s leading traditional cloth designer.
According to the CEO Owambe Clothing, Ola-Abraham Emmanuel, qualified 100 models will have a chance of being signed by reputable local and international modelling agencies which the company is working with as regards the show.
“All the 100 models too, will be signed models for our brand, we will sign them as brand ambassadors for the company.
“We have a dedicated website for this show- www.100modelsfs.com where models of even plus sizes and kids can register and checkout for details of the event.
“The form is still open and we are still open for sponsorship but presently the show is with support from Federal Government of Nigeria- YOUWIN programme,” he added.
When asked, he said first ladies from the six south-west Nigeria with the states’ commissioners, Ministers of Finance, and Trade and Commerce with two Governors and prominent traditional rules in the nation and other business tycoons will grace the occasion.
