Yippee!!! It’s Christmas Time
Christmas is here again. The most beautiful time of the year where we come together to make each other happy and we have to be grateful to God because not everybody was given the opportunity to witness this beautiful day.
I never ever thought that I would be writing an article about this Christmas cause I nearly lost my life in a car accident that occurred in July 2015, but here I am today wishing my glorious people MERRY CHRISTMAS. Everything that we have today, we have to own it up to God cause He is the only one that made it possible for us. So many of us have one or two experiences to share about 2015, either good or bad, but I believe those experiences would never erase the joyful feelings you have to feel this Christmas.
In many families, it is the highlight of the year when everyone gathers around the elaborately decorated tree and the room is bathed in festive lighting; children’s eyes light up as they admire their gifts and you can simply forget about your everyday worries.
Christmas time exercises an unmistakeable magical charm over people especially children. They (children) feel loved by those around them. Collection of gifts from Santa Claus which make children eyes light up are in the meantime essentially linked to Christmas.
It is also one of those holidays that just seems to be filled with joy and wonder. Whether you are celebrating a non religious or religious Christmas, your day is sure to be filled with happiness especially when you drop your worries, you are definitely going to turn out fine. Below are the few ways I recommend for you to have a happy and sweet celebration;
?
The first way of enjoying your christmas celebration is by spreading cheers. When you hear Christmas songs, instead of being bad tempered and sulky, smile and whistle along. Being cheerful during the Christmas season will really help in spreading Christmas spirit to those around you, plus it helps you enjoy it more too. Try your best possible to wish others a merry christmas because that phrase “merry christmas” has a lot of spark in it that helps to blow someone’s day.
Another way of fitting into christmas mood and enjoying it is by decorating your house. Put Christmas lights in your house. Hang mistletoe in the doorways (particularly if
you know that someone special is coming
over), hang a homemade arrangement of flowers on your door, or put Christmas figurines like Santa. You can also buy and decorate a Christmas tree. Go with your family to your local Christmas tree farm to pick out a christmas tree that fits your house. After you’ve gotten your tree situated, wrap it in lights and begin hanging the ornaments.
Don’t forget to water it occasionally and
safeguard it from pets!
You can also join up with friends and family. For me, Christmas is about gathering with friends and family to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate the holiday. The day is a national holiday and most folks get a day off work. Take advantage of this time to reconnect with friends and family. Create your own traditions or celebrate with the traditions that have been passed down in your family. This would make the bond between you and your friends, family etc stronger. Moreover, you can also use this medium to get connected to your friends and relations, and this is where transaction begins, you never can tell if they would need your service in the days to come and they would consult you and pay you a good sum of money. So this period is the time you need to get connected to as many people as possible because we all need each other to grow.
Try to do a generous act. This is in the spirit
of spreading joy, kindness, beauty and
love during the Christmas season. Maybe you
can volunteer at a homeless shelter, buy some
vintage decorations or donate some of your unwanted decorations to a thrift shop, drop spare change into the local charity drive
bucket, help someone out with decorating like doing the tree for them and putting up outdoor lights, or maybe you could help with a local toy drive or food drive for those who have less than you do.
You can also consider giving gifts wrapped in
lovely wrapping papers. You don’t have to spend big bucks on gifts––small tokens are fine. Some families enjoy giving gifts to one another to show their appreciation for one another. You can buy gifts or make them yourself. Gathering around the Christmas tree with your family on Christmas morning and exchanging gifts is always fun. Try it and thank me later.
The last but not the least is you trying to do something fun with your family outdoor. There’s nothing as creating fun on a Christmas night than to walk or drive around town and the neighbourhood looking at local decorations. Head down to the beach or the local park. It’s always great to get out of the house and breathe in the fresh air. If you live in an area that is likely to be warm, this gives you the opportunity to get outdoor and appreciate the beauty of nature and enjoy some of your Christmas day swimming, walking, resting on the grass or playing a game outside together. Be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat!
In conclusion, let us all be aware that some people can find Christmas a difficult time, especially when a loved one is ill, or when they have family problems, or a loved one has died. Ensure that you do your best possible to comfort them and to include them in your good wishes. Always enjoy Christmas with your friends by calling them to your home and have fun with them by creating some Christmas cookies(I love cookies a lot) and if you are in some of the different parts of the world, use your computer devices or tablets to get connected with your friends and celebrate by sharing pictures with them. ENJOY!!!!!!!!
