Sadness, Sorrow as Singer Jesse Tabansi is Finally Laid To Rest

It was an emotional scene of sadness, sorrow and tears as family and friends of Singer, Jesse Tabansi, aka Jarhead, son of Lagos businessman, Anselm Tabansi gathered for his funeral.

The young man in his 20s who reportedly died in a car crash began his journey to the great beyond with service of songs which took place at Harbour Point, Vitoria Island.

The venue was filled to capacity with crest-fallen mourners who came in black attires.

Next day his remains were taken to his family home, Agbadana village, Nri Anaocha LGA. Anambra State.

First to hold was a wake keep which occured at Oba Akunwafor Tabansi compound. Jarhead’s vra father was a top businessman who owned Tabansi Records.

The wake was followed by the lying in-state and burial Mass. Rev. Fr. Clifford Aniefuna from St. Mary’s Eucharistic Parish, Nri. Agbadana conducted the mass.

Some guests who came to commiserate with the devastated family included former Governor, Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi and his wife, Senator Uche Ekwenife, Chief F.B.I Egolum, MD Fidelity Bank,Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo, Hon. Obina Chidoka, Chief Chike Chikeluba, Barr. Chilo Moedu, High-Chief Ease N. O. Esse, Chief Mike Okoye and Hon. Onyeibo Dazza Udeozo.
