Nollywood Biggest Gathering Holds Today

The most anticipated event in the Nigeria movie industry Best Of Nollywood Awards will take place today Friday 11.11.11. The award which is in it’s 3rd year is gradually becoming one of Nigeria’s most hyped event.

Anyway, according to the organizer’s, this year’s event promises to be a grand one because three new categories which are Best Kiss in a Nigerian Movie, Best Movie With Social Message and Best Crossover Artist were added to the list to make a total of 26 categories.

Basically, I’m looking forward to who the winner’s of the Best Nigerian Actress and Best Kiss in a Nigerian Movie categories will be. This is because there has been some form of controversy since the nomination list was released to the media as to who will emerge the winner of the Best Nigerian Actress category.

Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Nse Etim, Omoni Oboli and Uche Jombo were nominated in this category and if you agree with me, these ladies are extremely talented in their acting roles and i’m sure it will be a tough decision for the panel to decide who the winner will be. Anyway, let’s keep our fingers crossed.

Well, my next favorite category is the Best Kiss in a Nigerian Movie. Hmmm! C’mon guys what do you think about this category? Uche Jombo, Kalu Ikeagwu, Odunade Adekola, Tokunbo Latona, Tonto Dike and Muna are the nominee’s of this category.

My take on this is very simple. Our Nigerian actor’s and actresses don’t have good kissing skills when compared with the Ghanaian counterpart. I might be wrong but feel free to send in your view on this one.

Yvonne Nelson and the fair guy who shows off his butt, sure you know who i’m referring to. Majid yea! Majid, both of them are good kissers. Don’t get me wrong our actor’s and actresses are good in kissing but not as good as the Ghanaian actor’s but since there’s an award made for those who has got excellent, fantastic, mind-blowing kissing skills maybe some might just want to step up their game in that aspect.
