The last may not have been heard on the fabulous wedding shindig of the daughter of Senator Florence Ita Giwa, one of Nigeria’s high society ladies. In case you’ve just been reading this for the first time, the wedding remains the wedding to beat this year, in terms of lavishness and wasteful. There was nothing the woman of substance didn’t budget for, both the ones she needed and those she didn’t need

But to people’s chagrin, the bridegroom’s family were treated with disdain as we gathered they had to look at faces before a bottle of wine and coke could be dropped on their table as if they actually came to beg for food while her guests were eating and drinking to stupor.

Her “daughter”, (the lady’s biological history is a story for another day)-Koko Florence Mayen was recently given out in marriage to her heartthrob, Chimaobi Shawcross Obioha Jr. in a superlative wedding that attracted the movers and shakers of the society. It was quite an impressive outing as the senator of the federal republic boasted to have spent almost a fortune, people close to her are saying she mentioned a figure in the neighbourhood of N100m for the traditional and white weddings which held in Calabar and Lagos respectively.

Aside all this, close sources at the white wedding which held at the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites have come out to split the beans, they said there are matters on ground, in fact, the popular senator and her self-acclaimed god daughter, Ndidi Obioha-wedding planner and event specialist must have fell apart.

According to the information exclusively gathered by National Enquirer, Senator Ita Giwa and Ndidi Obioha almost reached for each other’s jugular in the very presence of the colourful guests at the wedding as Ita Giwa threw caution to the wind to lampoon the wedding planner and stylist, Ndidi on account of mismanagement and incapability.

The source confided in this office that, the gorgeous 5-step beautiful cake which was paraded to the admiration of the upwardly mobile guests developed wings and flew away mysteriously whilst the wedding was on-going. It was a queer incident that ran Mma Bakassi mad to the extent that, she couldn’t help but lose her nerves by calling Ndidi who was entrusted to handle so many things unprinted names in the midst of guests.

Mma Bakassi as the rich woman is fondly called was overheard to have shouted on top of her voice, “can you see yourself, there’s nothing you can handle, is this why I paid you N2.5m and my daughter’s wedding cake was stolen’, she was said to have charged.

Meanwhile, feelers from Ndidi’s camp are of the opinion that, Senator Ita Giwa didn’t give her more than a million Naira to handle those things, ‘for where, would she ever give you that much, all she gave me was just a million Naira and I have never been that disgraced in my life, Ndidi was quoted to be confiding in a friend.

There are quite backlog of stories which the source has promised to divulge as fall-out of the wedding, the bridegroom’s family and other things they won’t tell you. Keep a date.
