Party Gist: Lagos Socialite, Sade Alesh’s Son, Azeez, Marries Daughter Of Popular Lagos Cloth Merchant In Lagos

Saturday 18th of October, 2014 was the engagement of Abdul Azeez Olajuwon Ogedegbe, the son of the famous society woman and Diamond affairs boss, Chief (Mrs) Folashade Adunni Risiquat Adeshoye as he married his belle, Afausat Adejoke, the daughter of popular Lagos cloth merchant, Morufat Kalejaiye. The event kicked off on Tuesday, Oct 14 with the Mother’s Night at the Civic Center, Victoria Island amidst sheer opulence and class. The engagement ceremony took place at the All Season’s Plaza on the 18th of October. While the wedding ceremony was held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel.

BRIDE

Adejoke Fausat dressed in an expensive burgundy hand cut lace which she matched with an expensive coral bead matched with diamond accessories. She dazzled to the admiration of all guests and she danced her heart out to the music of K1 D Ultimate.

GROOM

The groom was clad in burgundy Aso-Oke while his coral beads were mixed with pure diamond to complete his outfit. He later changed into a flowing Agbada.

ASO EBI

The aso -ebi for friends of the bride was baby pink chord lace which was sold for 35k. The aso ebi for friends which was general was fuschia pink net-lace which was worn by over 1,000 guests sold at 65k. While close friends to the grooms mum wore the N300,000 aso-ebi

DECOR

All season’s Plaza served as the venue of the wedding. Guests were welcome by the romantic aroma of scented candles and eye catching decoration. One thing I really liked about the decor was the pink table arrangement because it was done differently from the norms at wedding settings. The pink table cover and gold plated beautiful display table numbers which was used to depict colours and fruit name names like Navy, Peach, Silver, Gold, Moccasin, Salmon, Tomato, Violet, Lavender, Brick, Orange Peach Puff, purple were used as table numbers while the wedding invitation which had all the names was a guide for guests to locate their tables.

ENGAGEMENT CEREMONY

The conjugal bliss between Abdul Azeez and Fausat Adejoke kicked off at few minutes pass 1pm. Two popular engagement anchors were there to do what they know how to do best. The grooms mother didn’t leave any stone unturned as she came with an handful of engagement items which were wrapped in baby pink. Letters were exchanged by both family to the administration of all.

From conceptualization to actualization, the event was well planned and organised. No less than 6 caterers were fully booked to serve both intercontinental and local dished.
