The Abuja yearly carnival kicked off over the weekend in Abuja. The aim of the event is to create a credible platform for national unity, peaceful co-existence and understanding of ethnically and culturally diverse nation.
The thirty six states in Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) participated in the weekend carnival. See pictures below
