Designing For The Future.. ‘Komole’ The Trend That Has Come To Stay
Weddings in Nigeria has evolved from what it used to be 10years ago where weddings were being planned by the couple themselves to weddings now been planned by event planners who hire all the vendors with the aim of creating the dream wedding of the couple.
Planning weddings with huge extravagant productions to suit the theme and budget of the couple thereby totally taking the planning stress off them is big business in Nigeria. Destination weddings are also taking the centre stage with Dubai been the favorite destination of couples who can afford a destination wedding.
The wedding industry is currently the fastest growing industry in Nigeria with a guest list of 3000 and above and with guests partying till after midnight. Weddings are no doubt, the new night clubs in Nigeria.
There are several aspects that leads to the big day in the life of a Nigerian couple. The engagement ceremony which involves very close family members and then the white wedding.
The modern day Nigerian bride usually go all out to look unique on her big day, not minding the cost of getting the perfect look she has always dreamt of. From the traditional attire popularly called Aso Oke to hiring a makeup artist and a hair stylist. The brides who want a destination wedding don’t mind flying the makeup artist and all other vendors putting her look together out of the country. A Bride’s look on her big day means a lot to her and she does not joke with this aspect at all.

With 12 years of research and development, the Komole designs since its launch in 2012 has been the favorite of most brides. Cost of the Komole attire is approximately one million Naira and most of the brides who rock the outfit do not mind the cost.
The Komole range has taken fashion to a whole new level with other designers trying hard to duplicate the design.
However, The Komole has its own uniqueness. One, the Komole bride can’t help but feel classy, The Komole range also stands out with attention to every detail.
Will there be more sophisticated occasional outfits coming out of Nigeria? Yes.
