Review: The Nook Cafe and Bar

I got invited to review the Nook Cafe and Bar. It isn’t by first time getting Invitation to review a restaurant. Often times I notice that each restaurant has its own unique feature and I’m willing to explore more exciting places and providing details off all you need to know about these places.

Without any further ado, here is how my day went at The Nook Cafe and Bar.

ARRIVAL AT THE NOOK CAFE AND BAR

Finding my way to the Nook Cafe wasn’t difficult at all. The Nook is located at Unit 8, Omatsola complex. 17/19 Kaffi/Olaiya junction just behind Ikeja city mall. You can’t miss it. The complex is quite big with several businesses. The Nook is right on the ground floor.

INSIDE & ABOUT THE NOOK CAFE AND BAR

The Nook is one of the most simple yet cutest places I’ve reviewed. The Nook is totally designed for comfort. It is a bar, cafe and hub for meetings, mingling, reading and a quiet place to work for a few minutes and to also meditate. The Music is smooth, alternate and jazzy. I loved the ambiance especially the comfy cushions and throw pillows. The little motivational quotes in strategic places depicts what it stands for. For me the Nook caters to mature minds who need a quiet place to think, relax and chill in a very calm atmosphere.

Just Incase you’re stressed from work and you need a place to chill.

The Nook has happy hours for young professionals, talk and shake hands sessions, art and creative features every week.

WHAT I ATE

Jollof rice, grilled fish and vegetables.
The meal was spicy, a bit of pepper just the way I liked it. Meal took about 20 minutes after placing my order.

Frozen Chapman and Goddess, very refreshing especially with the heat levels these days.

SERVICES OFFERED AT THE NOOK

From private parties to small number events to pre-event tastings the Nook is the perfect place venue. They also provide outdoor catering services, sales of coffee, cocktails, grilled food and fresh juice.
