Canon Builds Capacity With Fashion Photography Masterclass

As part of its weeklong second Canon Discovery Week in Nigeria, the foremost imaging solutions company, Canon organized a fashion photography masterclass aimed at building photography capacity among Nigerians.

At the Canon Academy located in Ikeja, Lagos, over 50 Nigerian photographers benefitted from a one-day free fashion photography masterclass facilitated by ace photographer, Emmanuel Oyeleke.

According to Oyeleke, “I am committed to empowering youths and imparting knowledge. It is a wonderful opportunity to work with Canon in raising the bar of professional fashion photography in Nigeria.”

The Canon fashion photography masterclass facilitator, Oyeleke reiterated the importance of investing in the acquisition of professional photography skills and gadgets to the teeming photography enthusiasts.

After the theoretical lessons, Oyeleke demonstrated practical fashion photography using the latest Canon EOS-R system to shoot a model from different positions including different settings of the Canon EOS-R camera to impart participants with the knowledge.

Afterwards, the participants also had the opportunity of practical shoot with the Canon EOS-R system drilling in the necessary knowledge needed to handle the latest Canon technology in carrying out professional photo shoot.

One of the participants who could not hide his joy of participating in the Canon fashion photography masterclass, Otatane-oso Andrew, a photographer and poet popularly known as 2’wyth expressed deep satisfaction in attending the Canon fashion photography masterclass.

“The Canon fashion photography masterclass with Emmanuel Oyeleke was awe-inspiring. The practical session was an eye-opener, revealing the secrets behind the magic of creating simply creative and stunning fashion pictures. I am most grateful to Canon and Emmanuel Oyeleke for the opportunity,” Andrew declared.
