5 Tips For Throwing a Successful Virtual Party
Although we might not be able to meet up with a friend or family members over for dinner, hangout, dinner dates and all, that doesn’t mean you can’t throw a party. Like many of the activities we as a society have found ways to do digitally in the wake of the pandemic — school, working out, birthday party, online praise party, wedding — with a little ingenuity, a dinner party or any other party for that matter can totally be done over Zoom, Google Hangout, or the Houseparty app.
1. Keep It Small
When curating your guest list, keep it small to ensure you can interact with all of your guests and conversation flows naturally. Regardless of the platform you choose, make sure your guests fit on one screen.

Try to find restaurants that are doing takeout packages and order meals. Get them delivered to your guests.
4. Entertainment
Who would you love to see perform at the party. Get a DJ, saxophonist or a live band to perform during your virtual party. Hire an MC for the event.
5. Finalize the Details
A few days before the dinner party, send an e-mail with all the information your guests needs. Provide a zoom link and a passcode.
